From what I have read, they certainly won't hurt, but the factory manifold is pretty efficient.

imo the EL header sounds is pretty sweet to.

you could go down the PnP stocker route to if you wanted to gain some lowend and spool

    more top end...
can worsen lag, depending on setup.
EL headers can sound like a honda, or an evo, depending on cats/resonators.

i have the perrin ones and i'm super happy with the results.

Is this on a turbo or non-turbo car? Depending on the type, the design will be very different.

I have the SSAutoChrome headers. 4-1. It comes with an uppipe w/ fleww joint. So to say the setup is complete headerback, TD04L@15psi w/ TMIC and Perrin BOV on a stock EJ22T.

I'm running a standard wrx turbo w/ cobb tbe and an sti gutted uppipe... the uppipe was a great addition and my turbo spool time has improved a great deal. I've recently ordered a lightweight pulley as well. What will headers do to my powerband?

^^^ Well, the biggest thing is that the headers will move the power band to the right. The biggest problem you have is that you do not have enough gas to fully use what you already have on the car. The td04 will push alot more than a stg2 map, but you don't have the fuel. Putting on a set of headers is just going to make the problem that much worse. Just my .02 tho.
