My wife and 2 kids flew to Mpls today to check out some houses in the area. Due to the fact that I office at home, my boss and his boss have no issues with us relocating. As soon as our current house sells, we'll be on the road to Hudson, Wi. I can't wait to see how my car feels at 800-900 ft above sea level, being that it's been living at 6200 ft.
Wanna live in Cottage Grove? It's not far from Hudson :laugh: (in all seriousness, we're about half an hour from hudson ... and our home IS for sale, but nobody can come through it quite yet, I've gotta clean like hell and get it ready for showing, which I'm sure you're familiar with)
They were able to view 14 houses, and somehow the best was saved for last. We are making an offer today, contingent on the sale of our current house.
wow, good luck! It is quite the change, every time I go to Colorado to snowboard, it takes me a day or so to get used to the elevation. or maybe Im just getting old..... hmmm
I feel the old part. I'm originally from Hibbing, and my wife is from Boyceville, Wi. We moved from Apple Valley to Colorado in 1990, so it's a homecoming of sorts.
