So my family and I are traveling to Louisiana for a funeral. And in Iowa, the snow is very wet. The plow trucks were doing as much as they could, but did not hit all the areas. Many cars were flying off the road, it was scary. So we pulled into a rest area, and the ramp wasn't plowed either. Spun out but was ok. Got back on the road and going with traffic and sudden, car spun out again and this time into the median. Everyone is fine. We manage to drive out of it and go into another rest area to find out 1/3 of my bumper was ripped off . I'm kinda mad but am very happy that we're still ok. No pictures yet but once I get to my destination, I will post pictures. Right now my family and I are in Kansas City, Missouri, though we were suppose to be in Springfield, Missouri. Now I have to get up earlier than expected to make up for the lost of time. Thought I'd share this with you. Just be very careful driving. :emo:
Tough to have that happen during an already trying time. Glad everyone is OK though. I gotta ask why you're not just flying down there? That's one heckuva haul!
Hrm, I went to New Orleans from Minnesota 4 years ago come Dec. 12th for a funeral also. Blew a tie rod on Int.10 coming into New Orleans.:eek3: Damn VooDoo. Be careful on the rest of your trip. Get back safe.
my rex y0!!! it's ok though, right now, I'm at McDonalds in Joplin, Missouri Roads are very dry, very light sprinkles here and there. A bumper is replaceable, and I'm not worried As long as my daughter and wife are ok, I'll be fine. There are personal reasons why I chose to drive instead of taking a plane. But will keep you updated soon.
damn man, glad to hear yall are ok. sooooo... this is in the mail? http://www.rallysportdirect.com/shop/chargespeed-wrxsti-wide-body-kit-p-2741.html
