Remember this thread? http://www.mnsubaru.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20882 So this was the outcome So I was sitting at the light...and someone came right behind me at 50mph And this is what happened And I didn't even know that this happened (the driver that was in front of me took off) So...let's play the waiting game. :emo: So much problems within one week...and I was about to leave the next morning (which is today)
So more exciting news after we spoke. G'z bro, some luck ha, hope your family is doing well. I guess you know what the next step will be. Hope Insurance will take car of this mess. How did you guys get home?
The lady who hit me has insurance and tomorrow everything will be taken care of Thanks everybody... LUCKILY I was in my car by myself, the kid and wife were at the in-laws for the moment...
Wow Your car looks so amazing and clean sorry to hear about it! I Just got into a little accident also the old lady tryed to say she was hurt but all she cared about was saying, damn your kids you need to learn to drive ha ha! But im sure insurence will do its just, Rear-end = not your fault!
BTW, for those who don't know much, I'm in Louisiana right now, and this sucks because it's all out of state so I have to get things done here before I can come back....damnit
holy **** nuke!!! wow.....WOW...i'm speechless..it almost looks like mines :emo: ....so what's gonna happen to it?
Which insurance company are you with? Allstate says they will replace your car if its less than 3yrs old. Good luck and take a plane back.
They better not have towed your truck like in the picture or else you have a whole world of drive-train problems to worry about.
That f'ing blows. You got hi-lo'd in The Big Easy of all places. :ugh: That just ain't right. Glad you're ok and hopefully things work out well on the claims/repair side.
Unfortunately...that's all they have here. BUT her (the ***** who hit me) insurance will be noted about it. Most of the cars here are either fwd or rwd...I saw like 2 subarus the whole time.
like i said to you on the phone man, glad you and the family are ok, and get your ass back to mn safe!
I call :bs:. What happens in New Orleans when a car is involved in an accident where the wheels are damaged. How do you tow it then? They have flatbeds...the tow truck company on the scene maybe didn't, but they have them. That's BS.
Nobody down south has AWD cars? I'm sure they don't have Subaru dealerships down there then. What about all the full-time AWD SUV's...people in the south could never own one of those!!!! Might as well just pass a law saying that nobody in the southern half of the US can own an AWD vehicle...
No. That's not what I meant. It was a generalization based on my narrow-minded view of the southern half of the united states. I wasn't saying that AWD vehicles don't exist in the south, just that Intelligence isn't as prevalent.
noooooooo Ouch. I'm glad no one got hurt. Damn southerners and their lack of motor vehicle driving skills
yikes. glad yr ok, y0! Hopefully they total it and give you back what you paid for it hit me up when you get back in town.
the popos kept calling my car a bmw lol and then another cop looked at it and noticed it was a subaru and was like, OOOH, we haven't seen these cars around I'll update you all whenever I get more info. Yes, the south doesn't really have much awd or need the awd, it's mostly bmws and hondas here I'm in Lafayette btw...good food though.
well now if you have diff/tranny problems you can go after the towing company. unless you like signed something. you didnt did you?
that don't even sound right....lol sux balls that you have an accident...even more sux that you in out of state that happen. hope everything works well down thurr... laterz
They do have insurance to pay for this. If they hassle you you may want tod eal with insurance directly. Note however, that if you allowed them to tow this way without some sort of protest you might have some contributory negligence, but I kind of doubt it.
