I was looking at exhausts on NASIOC and i came across this one, I like the Invidia N1 but i wasnt sure about these dents.

    http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1120057

I was wondering if they are a big deal? I probably wont buy it because of the dents but i was wondering if they are something that would affect the exhaust at all? I certainly wouldnt pay $400 for it but....i was just curious.

Holy Cow...That is a Major Major Dent...I'd pass on it, I'm sure it will affect the flow.

um... that amount wouldnt drastically affect the flow too much considering it wont be on a 1000whp motor... but it definitely is a bad dent... the reason I say this is I have a PRESS bent DP that I built which cuts the flow down a fair bit over even an ERZ DP and I still put 212.3 whp down on a dyno with the stage 2 91 map from Cobb.... and the TBE has small press bends in it too...

so if the price is right and the dents are under the car I wouldnt worry too much.... and looking at the pics they are under the car where it bolts to the DP anyways... I wouldnt think it is a big deal but I would offer him $300

You could always heat the piping and massage a lot of that out....

I'd still pass on it...Nate does have a point as far as the flow is concerned, but with a ding like that who knows what type of failure it will have in the future. Close to Welds, u know what I mean...Do not want any leaky pipes

Give him 1/2 of that and buy a different resonator and weld it in place of the dented one. It'll cost $100 for a resonator and $50 for a weld unless you know someone.
