so while i was in st. cloud....

i was at the benton county fair grounds working medical for a hockey tournyment, and my partner and myself decide to go to wendy's off of hyw 10. so we go and eat and after a while a few punk skate boarders show up. so her and i go walking out to my car (we are in our uniforms for school, goin to be a paramedic) and they give us a funny look, get in the car start backing out, she says look out here come a skate board, i say i know.... and bump, bump :laugh: i start chuckling and she is rollin on the floor and i can hear the kids in disbelief. she said that she couldnt belive that i did that and i said they shouldnt be skateboarding in a busy fast food place.

I had an incident in our parking lot at home - there was this kid, probably about 6 or 7, and he always rode his bike around the parking lot - until I came along.

Well the kid was waiting to go, and the sun was in my eyes, the kid looks over, looks right at my carpool buddy, and then decides "oh I can go" and rides his bike right out into my car. I was going less than the posted speed limit - so probably around 5 mph. The kid gets up afterword and runs away.

The kid was fine, my car was not. He scraped up the front bumper real bad. They left me alone, though. No charges or doctor visits even though i was willing to pay. His mom says "well, i guess he'll have to take some safety classes or something cause this has happened before" ..


before??? you mean, you let your kid play in the frickin parking lot after he has already been hit by a car once?! You think it won't happen again? He was lucky I was going so slow, I have seen people go 30 or higher in that lot!

Haven't seen him since ... :laugh:

 

that made the rest of my day, plus i made 80 bucks, and no one got seriously hurt (at the games)

 

:eek3: I ran over a Old Ladies Church group the other day, boy was that funny, you should have seen the looks on the bystanders faces when I yelled out the window " walk faster next time ya old bats". You should have been there.:eek3:

 

haha! that'll teach him not to purposely throw his skate board at you. i would've came out of my car and chashed after them for doing that.

you should have told him that he SHOULD have been on the skateboard so you can perform your surgery right there and then w/o them sleeping shots or whatever....lolz

 

So the kicked it at you rcar on purpose? Or just were dumb and lost control of it and it went rolling to your car?
