Well, it sold a couple of weeks ago. Probably the nicest '02 SV 650 in the entire state. MAN that thing was mint. Anyways, I miss it. Who else has sold a vehicle, only to COMPLETELY regret your decision? Heres some pictures of the pretty 'thang.
I completely regret selling my ae86. I want her back so bad. Cleanest one in the state for stock original color.
I regret selling my second (first was totaled in a flood) Sentra SE-R (B13). The one I have now is a 91, which means better stock cams, but the rust is bad. The only things the 93 needed were a new passenger door and a new exhaust (both of which I've had to do on the current one too). But when the WRX was all new and shiny, the Sentra just sat so I thought it was time to sell.
Ahh I use to have a 91 SE-R. But it was a rust bucket. The rear trunk had a hole the size of a grape fruit, the frame was rusted out pretty much the body was no good. I sold her for like $800 bucks. The motor and tranny was still very strong. The guy that came in bought the car went from frist to second gear and turned to me and said "here's your $800". All he wanted was just the motor and tranny. I even gave him a brand new clutch that I had just purchased. Those are very fun torquey cars. Smoked a lot of GSR's back in the day. lol:biggrin:
Mine has the obligatory rust in the rear or the rockers, and the door jambs are nearly missing. But nothing like what you're describing. Mine is also gutted, has a short-ram intake, prothane motor mounts, headers, high-flow cat, VRS 2.5" catback exhaust with a Magnaflow at the end, EGR, AIV, and BPT deletes, rally tires on NX2000 wheels, an Alfa Club Rally odometer, got a race seat waiting for some modifications to a set of sliders I pulled out of a junker, KYB AGXs, Walbro 255HP fuel pump. I'm trying to get my truck running again so I can pull it out of the garage and put the SE-R in there and take care of the bodywork (also taking out the sunroof and welding in a new panel in addition to the rust) over the winter. Also, it's getting a nice light bar, with Hella FF1000s, 2x driving beams, 2xpencil beams and another 2 either 500s or ff1000s (if I win an ebay auction tonight) set up as cornering lights.
Is it the SR5 converted to a GT-S thats white? If it is I'll pass I saw his ad on criagslist a couple months back. When I have the money I'm buying back my car from my buddie. Its just sentimental value that carry's with it.
I regret selling two cars but i didnt really have a Choice my 00 GTP and my 98 Dodge ram i spent so much money building them that i couldnt afford to keep them lol o well now i have my WRX
yes a ford powered by yamaha, also 220 hp 7.5 k redline FTMFW i forgot to add i kind of miss my b13 sentra too.
I aso sold something yellow that Ill probably regret for the rest of my life. at least I got to keep this one
I too am bummed that the banana is no longer around. The difference between selling the bike and the RS is that when I sold the RS I, it had to go. I had no cash and needed to pay for school. I have plenty of money right now, and sold the bike to have one less thing to take with me when i move. I then find out that I have a climate controlled garage that my boss is letting me park my vehicles in. BLARGH.
If I can find one cheap enough, I'm sure it will become part of the arsenal. I'm an addict to V-twins. I dont think I could step into an Jap 600 or something of the like.
sold my 2001 Triumph Speed Triple about 3 years ago...one of the worst decisions that I've ever made.
I'm still kicking myself...I sold it to get an Aprilia Mille. To be honest, the Speed Triple was more fun, more comfortable and a little more unique.
boo hoo. those bikes are both freaking awesome. Mille is the best looking bike in the world, speed triple is pretty close.
