    they don't sell the 2.5 NA impreza anywhere but Australia and the US and Canada. All the rest are 1.5s

    5th gear < top gear


    BUT.....the Euro-spec '08 still gets the dual range 5MT!!! I've got to get one of those tranny cases!

    ^ any clue what the gear ratio is in the dual range cases? I also need one of those.

    no, you don't. for an offroad rig, the EA82 5MT is much better. the only reason to get ahold of a foreign tranny case, is so you can use an EJ clutch kit. but with stock power, an XT6 one is plenty.

    and, pretty safe bet it's the measiliy 1.196:1. which is why I say the tranny case, so I can put some real internals in it :biggrin:
