im really sorry to arise this thread from the dead but damn carl youve got some competition. those pictures were really good.:+1:
there are other photogs on here that are way better than me, but not shannon lol j/k shannon. maybe. shannon, you buying a new body? that why you were txting me yesterday about ISO performance?
i dont have any money, i have 1 poopy lens it crossed my mind, my friend is looking to get one and i want something with a lot higher ISO capabilities.. but then i'd have to buy all L lenses and that'd be hard since i cant afford cheap lenses that will mount to the XTi in all honestly carl will always be better than me, carls equipment is 1000000xxx better than mine also :emo: oh well
I really like that bridge shot shannon. sometimes falling snow just looks poopy on camera but that came out quite clean. first rolling shot is great too, second one is a little washed out on the left
yeah that bridge pic isnt bad, i think i'l be going back there for the MNSC bridge photo contest.. how often do you clean your equipment (lens) and what do you use?
lenses I clean whenever I notice a decent amount of dust on the front lens. I just use those little wipe cloths and some liquid lens cleaner (can't remember what brands off the top of my head - got them at national camera). a little dust on the lens won't show in pics so I don't worry about cleaning them too much. I clean my sensor whenever I start seeing more than 1 large spec in my pics. I use sensor swabs and eclipse fluid for that.
i think i should do that, i dont know if its just me being used to the pictures or what they just seem pretty lame as far as color goes
