Good price/ Bad price? What should I be looking for in a Subie as I really start looking into my next big purchase?

It's pretty much in the right color and has the right style, but I am holding off slightly until January when I am 100% in the clear on all debt. So I thought I would start it off by getting a feel from those that own them on what I should expect or want when I put myself on the market.

It is a scam. More than likely. The odometer reads 5100 something...while the listing says 17k. And those wheels are most definately the wrong offset for a Subaru.

Actually, call the guy. See what he says. If you buy it, sell the wheels and get something that wont kill your wheel bearings. But that car looks pretty mint
The number they give might offer some insight into the reasoning behind the odometer descrepencies...I would go for it now that I see the price.

That car looks pretty darn straight to me. I would give the guy a call and see what his bottom dollar is.

Getting rid of the Cougar eh? :)

You can always send the speedo to a shop to have it pulsed to the correct mileage. We have a place that we send clusters to for setting the correct mileage. Of course, you have no idea of what the actual mileage is, so the point is moot. Something to keep in mind though if you want to swap to an STI cluster later on...

Actually, the coog is completely paid off so it may become the winter beater...There is still a ton I can do to it, and the car does handle like butter.

Well it didn't meet reserve so I may have to give this guy a call today. If I can get it for a decent price, who knows...I may be on my way to Texas!

    YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWW! :)
