Wow, that sucks. Must have been an interesting call to the insurance provider. "Uh, yes my SUV was just destroyed by a large earth mover being pulled by a toe truck. You cover that right?"

Hey man ive seen a lot worse happen... I was working on a job-site in Edina about 3 years ago and a operator in a CAT 330cl backhoe ran over a car while backing up... There is no coming back from that one the car was GONE

....And that would be better how? OH, the taxpayers can pay to fix it! Woo!

Also, city-owned cars are not parked on a residential street at 6am. Especially in NY.

Forgot to look for this vid. Thanks, Dan!

The WRX looks like it needs some cosmetic TLC, but a great deal!

coming from someone certified to operate a tram, those guys deserve every single insult being dished by these bystanders. The tram's bucket has enough power to lift the front wheels off the ground, which means that it can EASILY be dropped with the blade down and used to either reverse or drag forward a stuck tram, even out of sand halfway up the wheels.

You can also drop the bucket on edge and use the rear of the tram (since its a center turn) to back out while the front remains locked.

Pathetic. Where these guys got heavy equipment operators licenses is beyond me.
