So last week I drove down to Houston Texas to visit some friends and on my way back I had noticed that when I would accelerate to pass someone on the hyw my car was surging.( I wasn't getin on it either.) You could hear it rev up when you got on the gas and it would go then it would like drop a little bit, but then go rite back to where it should be, this would all happen in a split second. It sounded like you could hear the turbo sucking then not as much then back to normal. I dont if this makes any scenes at all, sorry

    Thanks
    Chris

i had this issues for awhile i think it had something to do with the change in atmospheric pressure from my summer tune. the atmo pressure was either to high or to low and it caused the fluctuation. changed some stuff with turbo dynamics and atmo pressure on the tune and fixed the issue.

Could be onto something. It started happening with mine up at the Ojibwe rally in the colder temps. I'll keep an eye on it and see if it goes away when it's warmer outside.

It is when I was in 5th gear doin any where from 70 to 80 mph.
As far as the tuning gose idk who did it. I bought the car this summer up in the citys from Kong Yang if any one knows him. It is an 02 wrx with up pipe and then turbo back exhaust.

Maybe hitting boost target then wastegate duty drops to correct it. Boost tuning should fix that.
