Ok guys i believe its time to change my spark plugs. I tried looking for them in my 02wrx but i just couldn't locate them (im still new to subarus). Are they hard to change? I would really appreciate the response guys.

    Thanks

there are 2 on each side, you can get to the passenger side ones easier than the driver side ones, no exp 2-4 hours, exp less than 2 hours

The spark plugs are in the motor: two on each side of the motor. Each spark plug has its own coil pack. Take out your airbox (assuming you know how to or you have extra long socket extensions) and the spark plugs are in the two black square-like things. Just use a 12mm or 14mm socket wrench to remove each one off of the motor and use a standard spark plug socket to unscrew them out one at a time. The same procedure goes for the right hand side only that you need to move the windshield washer fluid tank aside and that there's not much room to stick your tools in there.

When retightening the spark plugs, keep in mind that the heads are made out of aluminum and over tightening them can strip the threads. Only tighten them to the point that they are nice and snug. If I remember correctly, about 15 ft/lbs of torque.
