Oh forget it. Just read this thread. Who's gonna make it out this Friday night? I'm asking because I want to give back to the club in the form of eggrolls and pop for the club's generosity during the hardest time of my life. I will try to get my GF to cook at least 50 eggrolls or more depending on ingredients... don't worry, I'll help her too. Wink These won't be the same eggrolls you find at the Chinese buffet, these are savory. They should be. The guys at my workplace (none Asian, but it's okay) loved it when they grilled my mom's cooked eggrolls to heat them up. If someone has a gas BBQ grill (and if we have permission to BBQ on the Firestone [Russ???]), we can fire up some eggrolls for the smoked flavor, too.
i'd feel guilty, since i crashed my car during that time period. all my money has went into the insurance crap and such to cover my accident. I'll be there like usual, but being thanks for not helping out. I can't take that, makes me feel too guilty.
Just take some pictures of the eggroll festival for me. I don't think I want to drive 200 miles for food =)
i wont be able to make it this friday. (this weekend is MEA) i am headed down to the south eatern corner of MN.
If people want to, we can make this a potluck. I was hoping to just bring napkins ( or even paper plates), but if people are bringing food to share with the group, I'll buy stryofoam plates, spoons/forks on top of my GF's eggrolls and my pop. Who wants a potluck?
I need rice with them eggrolls....so I"m bringing rice.... anyone want rice??? Because if not then I bring rice for me only
^^Bring a pot. Whatever rice is left, you can take home and eat. I'll bring some hot dipping sauce. My GF makes them good and hot. Perfect for eggrolls. As for the pop, don't worry about bringing them, krees23. I plan to bring Mt. Dew, Pepsi, and Sprite (a 12 pack of each). Anyone want to drink anything else? (non-alcoholic) Trash will be handled by me as well. I'll bring some trash cans from home to use.
I would rather have everyone there to enjoy the small token of my appreciation, but to those that cannot make it, I am truly sorry to not be able to thank you at this gathering. Maybe I can do something else later on for the group.
I really wish I could make it, I do love the eggrolls. But I'm gonna be at the rally up in Houghton MI. They're are a few other MNSubaru guys that will be there too, we'll hoist a few pints for you Fong.

Fong, I showed up with the whole family man... what happen? LOL... it's all good. I took my kids out to eat afterward because Uncle Fong was late. I'm glad everyong had fun and enjoyed Fongs treat.
