suspended from work, failing summer school, and now a speeding ticket. When it rains, it pours. 44 in a 30 and no seatbelt. Whats it called when I try to get put on probation for a year and it wont go on my record?
It's called different things in different juristictions. Go in and talk with either the prosecuting attorney or their assistant. Tell them that you do not want this to go on your record. Might be tricky with 2 offenses. If they don't go for it, schedule a court date. With any luck the cop who pegged you won't show up and your case will be dismissed. If not, well, you were screwed to begin with.

No seatbelt? :-o Were you actually not wearing it, or had you just taken it off when you pulled over? I've seen enough people flung around in cars that got seriously injured where they'd have been fine with a seatbelt.. I feel naked without mine on! Sux about the ticket. I hope you're able to get continuance for dismissal!
I'm trying to get into the habbit of wearing it, but on short errands I usually dont remember to put it on. Yia- I don't think I could give them up for less than 600.
