Customer brought in his work truck, for a trial run of sorts before he brings in his other dodge, which is a bit more exotic. As you can see in the pics it truly is a farm truck...tons of dust and rock damage. This was definitely my most intense paint correction yet but I am really pretty happy with how it turned out. Process: Wash with Meg's Super Soap Claybar - claymagic fine and meg's quik detailer IronX Wash with FK 118 Meg's 105 on orange pad Meg's 205 on green pad Sealed with FK 1000p Topped with FK Pink Wax Glass cleaned with FK 228 (inside and out) ProPolish used on all chrome Interior - Blitz APC, 1z cockpit premium, and a lot of elbow grease Engine - Blitz APC topped with FK 108 (top kote) Dressed all plastic cladding, tires, etc. wth FK 108 first look lots of caked on bugs etc. this truck doesn't get a lot of love as it is a workhorse and the interior... After the first wash, it's time to check out condition of the paint These scratches were the customer's main concern, from the dawg jumping up into the back of the truck lots of swirls
Interior all cleaned up Puppy damage completely gone Finished Product And 2 for fun with my new Sigma 10-20
It has been a really great combination for me so far. It seems like I end up using it on just about every detail. Sometimes I throw it on an orange pad for subaru's with lighter swirling. But using it right after 105 has netted me some impressive results!
Thanks! It took quite a while, I think probably 12 hours or so total! I did it over two days though so it wasn't too bad.
