I spotted this on saturday afternoon. I was mergin from 100 N onto 394W and i look behind me and BAM this car was there. He passed me and i snapped this pic. These cars are so hawt.... I wish I could see more of them on a daily basis. This is the first one i have seen in MN.
Masarti? I saw a black 4door Masarti in DownTown Mpls last month. My jaw just dropped and keep on looking at it. Its just sooooo RARE. I see more Lambo's then Masarti's. Super nice cars.
Indeed its an Aston Martin. I am not sure which model it is (looks like a DB9). I didnt see a badge on it. There is a Maserati dealer in MTKA so I see those occasionally, Astons are rare and IMO way cooler. it was freakin amazing looking in the rear view mirror and seeing the wings spread out on teh hood behind me (hood ornament) and that sweet lower grille.
I get to see a Maserati evertime I go into the garage Even better when I get to drive it...just have to wait until my mom is out of town usually
those cars are as common as bmws in las vegas ( i'm moving there next month ) The friggin kids in hs have nicer cars than mine. ho hum. :ugh:
we have alot of fun cars like that actually in MN... Martin, i cant believe you never saw the V12 Vanquish over by your house
WHAT! WHERE!?!?!?!?!? I really want to see one of those. These cars are dead sexy. The DB9 looks amazing, what i would give to have one..... 12 cylinders of 10.5:1 CR
My boss has a DB9. I have been allowed to drive it. I have pictures for those interested. All I can say is you better damn well have a lot of road in front of you if you plan on putting the pedal down. Another note, NEVER pin the pedal until you are above 40. The motor is a torque monster and you will find yourself doing a ballroom dance across pavement in a very expensive suit.
You can see me in that last picture getting out of the drivers seat. The car IS located in Florida-like the plates suggest. I happen to have the best boss on earth, who paid for me and two friends to come down to FL over spring break this year. He also gave us one of his investment properties to stay in (at Bayhill Golfcourse) for an entire 10 days while the Arnold Palmer tournament was going on. So I drove his aston, stayed in one of his multi million dollar homes, got to watch tiger woods from his backyard, and didnt even have to pay for the plane ticket.
the second picture from the bottom is a picture of my boss inside the car. I should also say that the interior on the Aston cannot be beat. I have sat in porsches, benz's, and even a ferrari or two, and it was the nicest thing I have ever sat in. The car is VERY quiet except a nice rumble from the motor when under 4k revs, but when you get on the gas-all hell breaks loose.
And martin, drive through downtown wayzata, and head into deephaven a little more often. I can count 3 different db7's, and two vanquishes off the top of my head that reside on those area's alone.
Thats sick and for the record Maserati's are all tlka haha but i think i saw a green austin martin at lafeytte club a few years back
Aston Martin= best balance of performance/luxury/looks that can be had in a car today, imo. Hawtness :yumyum:
ha, well, as a matter of fact: I leave for the Marines in october, so theoretically, there will be an opening. Depending on your location, I might be able to talk to him, and train someone in on my job before I leave.
crazy just seeing one of those sitting in a parking lot. I would be so nervous leaving a car like that in a public lot...
I know...I usually don't like parking the STi in public lots, but...oh, you mean the Aston He was parked about as far as you could get from any other car...but I just had to park next to him and snap a picture.
