Is there any interest for another dyno day this spring? If so, I will be contacting MAP for a date. Adam from MAP has informed me that every Saturday this April is booked but he may pull some strings to have Sunday dyno day if we want to get in during the month of April. I wanna get a list of those interested again and go from there to determine the date as soon as possible.

Date is set for May 9th, 2009

Price will be $55 for 3 pulls and a wideband this year the slight price increase from last year is for the food MAP will be serving. Also if a spectator wants to enjoy the food a $5 ticket will be need to be purchased. Food will be Chicken and Steak this year and will need a down payment for the runs and food to make sure this can happen. Payment options and price will be up soon. Please pm me and MAP after payment so I can mark you paid.

not trying to take away from Jordan at all...he is definitely a good tuner and very capable. He is doing the tuning for our EVO that is prototyping parts.

Matt from 555 was interested in coming up. I think it would be awesome to bring him up.

This thread started out as a gauging interest for a dyno day like we had last fall, MAP loved it and so did those that attended. If some of you would like to get tuned and MAP is ok with that then we will more than likely be able to work that in. Last time we had 20 some cars, started at I think 10am and were done by 3-4 with some stopping in the middle for food and prizes. I would still like to keep this Subaru based but other cars are welcome like last dyno day.

I'm felt a little discriminated there, Chat. LOL

Thanks for clearing things up. I am due for a little fine tuning refinement from last falls session, but it all depends if I take plan A or B at this point. Will let you know.

I say skip the tuning, that takes too much time. If we get 20 cars again, if one gets tuned that's like 5 cars doing pulls. (Assuming there's problems, there always are)

    tuning day = 5 cars

dyno day = 20 cars, and probably a lot more spectators.

then how bout we keep this thread for gauging a dyno day and we can start another thread about a separate tunning dyno day, Normally when Matt goes to Chicago he has like 3 days in a row of tunning at komet.

Having a tuning day will be a little hard to control as tuning sometimes leads into the 3-4 hour range depending on the mods.

I suggest for a SUNDAY dyno day we keep it to pulls only, if anyone would like to switch it to a Saturday because of a schedule conflict just let me know!

I'll see what I can get setup, it will be Mid-May.

So are we shooting for a Sunday dyno day or a Saturday mid may?

For the dyno day right? I read that your not a fan of the tuning day.

Also Justin I also like your tuning idea but not for this day, you or you and I can do another day like down the road for tuning ... deal?

    BP Sucks ;)

Anyways, the Sunday event or the Saturday event would be Mid May.

Make this a poll, for sat or sun. See which comes out on top.

I haven't and don't plan on changing anything since last falls dyno day but I do enjoy these events and would more than likely be willing to abuse the eardums of anyone who wants to stand near my car on the dyno.

Poll has been added Adam and we will now see which works the best for people.

Please do not double vote as that is really annoying and does not help this in any way!!!

when you set up a poll you can make it so people can only vote once. newb

It is tough for me to vote as some sats work better then sundays, and sometime the other way around. dates would help but I will vote for sat for now.

There is ways around the one vote, but yes in general only do one.

Adam please confirm what we are looking at for dates your last post slightly confused me.

Sunday will be in April? Or would either day picked be in May?

    Thanks

It looks like we are going to have to make it a Saturday. Going to have to atleast 4 employee's working on a Sunday to have a dyno day. They would have to take Saturday off in order to do it on Sunday, which might not be feasible due to Saturday being a popular tuning day.

Set it up for May 9th, 2009 Chet!

    Lets do

-50.00 for 3 pulls, you supply the food I'll cook it.

    -55.00 for 3 pulls, I'll supply all the pop/food/propane/laughter.

Chet you decide and let me know how you want to set it up and lock it in.

I'll do chicken/steak if we do it the 55.00 way.
