I've got an XV Crosstrek that was just in an accident and it looks like the exhaust might have taken a fatal hit. I'm wondering if something like the SPT would fit this car or what it would take to get it to work, as well as what the price difference might be from the OEM part. Anybody have any ideas?

Its a completely different chasis and exhaust routing. I don't think it would fit without a lot of modification. Sorry

Is it really that different from the hatches? I read on another forum we would likely just need to adapt the pipe at the front a bit to match, then it should work. These guys are all Aussie though and I know some things could be different.

I would bet that the exhaust connection points are in significantly different locations and likely rotated (turbo vs na). The cost to modify the wrx exhaust to fit your car would likely be on par with the cost to weld up a custom cat back (not including the cost of the spt exhaust).

Keep in mind that the XV might also have equal length headers (I have no idea what the XV has), so you might not get the subie rumble.
