I think its coming from my Turbo, I just heard it on the way to work this morning, popped the hood when I got to the parking garage.
I'll have to take a closer look tonight, its definately not a belt.

Its not constant, and only happens for a second or two then dissapears.

Could this be a sign that my turbo is going?

Are you pretty good about letting the car run for about 30 seconds prior to shutting it off when you park?

it cools the oil in the turbo so it doesnt cook when you turn the car off

I'd also check your intake...maybe you messed with somethig when installing your up pipe recently.

This shouldnt matter with a wrx turbo from what I can gather. Something to do with oil and water cooled or something.....

Isnt it since the condensation tank is the highest point in the cooling system the heat from the turbo causes the coolant to cycle on its own?

You guys are correct, shouldn't need a tt on a wrx with a stock set-up.

If you need another set of eyes/ears just PM me. I'm no expert, but surely can help pin point the problem.

    good luck!!

Anyways, thanks for the replies, I'll see what I can find tonight.

Ok, I know you have all been so worried...it wasn't my turbo.

It was my dp rubbing on that little hanger back by the o2:roll:
