Every time I depress my clutch pedal it sounds like I'm crushing a mouse about halfway through the pedal stroke. It has gotten a bit worse when cold. '07 Rex-N-Efx with 13k miles.

[jokes about rodents and stroking will be met with nphr@kshunz]

Thanks - one person says it is the two switches above the pedal in the cabin and another says it is the slave cylinder??? Mine seems like it is definitely coming from inside the cabin.

Since it is cold and I'm lazy I'm going to ask the dealership to fix it. No more or less important than any other annoying noise coming from a poorly fitted windshield or the like....

I had the same problem at 20k, I know it sounds like it's in the cab but if you pop the hood and open the door, You'll be able to hear it better. Better yet have a friend push the pedal, and you listen under the hood. I just replaced the whole clutch.
