Hello! I am new to this forum. A couple months ago I traded my Jeep SRT8 for a (used) 2011 WRX.

    I went from this:

    to this:

I loved the Jeep, and so far I like the WRX!

I got the WRX used in Bloomington, 2011 Premium with 13K on it, a Thule rack and 50% tint, maybe it was a MNSubaru member's...anyone claim it?

Thanks for the welcome guys. Maybe "like" was too soft a word...I am enjoying my first Subaru! There are a few rattles that are driving me nits right now, preventing the love.

As far as mods, I only plan on a cat back exhaust. At least until my warranty expires...

You'll get used to the rattles. I'm assuming your deck lid is one?

Edit: You have a hatch, so maybe the back seat?

Congrats on the new ride, what made you trade the SRT8? Those things are awesome!

Nice looking car! If your a-pillars are rattling I think there is a Subaru advisory deal about it, the dealership should take care of it. Otherwise pop them off and put some weather stripping in where the a-pillars meet the dash. Oh and welcome! :D

    I doubt it...

It was a financial decision. The Jeep was great.

Yup, A-pillar rattle is one of them. I've been to the dealer several times and they cannot reproduce it.
The other rattles were the infamous door speaker rattle, which they tried to fix and it made no difference, and the final one was a squeaky seat, which was eventually fixed after a few trips, but was replaced by a loose/rocking seat now.
I have not been able to find the TSBs for the first two issues to give to the dealer, so I guess I will tackle those rattles myself. The loose seat is going back to the dealer sometime soon. Prolly when I get go in to get my new TPMS synced.

Thanks! I'll have to check it out!

Interesting on the door speaker rattle. I had that when I bought my 2010 and it drove me crazy! Morries Minnetonka took care of it under warranty with no fuss, and it hasn't rattled since.

Have them look up TSB: 12-113-09

Its posted for model years 08-09, but the problem description is the same.
