I just went stage 2 with a custome built catback a week ago and when I get on it, it runs fine great power but as soon as I come up to an intersection, I get a smell of what seems like burning oil. Anyone have any ideas of what it could be? My car has never used oil and it is still on the full mark. Maybe I am just paranoid but I just want to make sure my car is fine.

    Thanks for your help!!

maybe its the exhaust. is it new? could still be the smell from it still breaking in. do you have any heat wrap on there? that could make it smell also.

Who did your up-pipe???? Check the oil line to the turbo.

We need to meet for the o2 fix, I can check out your car if you want another set of eyes.

sometimes on hot days i really, really hate the gas smell. other times its so awesome. Reminds me of being a kid in my dad's old 60's-70's sport coupes that barely ran.

If if really does smell like oil, it probably is OIL. You might have an oil leak that is dripping on the exhaust manifold. You should look around to see if there are any oil leaks on the side of your engine and look for burnt oil spots on the hot parts inside the engine bay.

Why do you need an o2 fix?!?

You have an AP, right? That will suppress any o2 sensor related CELs.
