Hey all, I have an 04 WRX running the Cobb stage 2 map, DP/UP. I'm running very rough at low RPM and throwing CELs. It seems to me this happened last year too (at the first real cold snap) and it just went away after a couple days.
Anybody have any experience with this?

    Thanks ---

Haven't had a chance to hook up the AP to it yet, may have a chance tonight.

Well --- according to Subaru --- Morrie's in BP --- it may be a burnt valve, or worse. Oy. They'll be taking it apart to find out.
Anybody have any experience with this?

Did you ever pull the codes? What did they come up as? Did they do a compression test on the motor?

We need more info, but if they're taking apart the motor it'll be some $$$$.

20% compression on #2. All externals check out, the code (don't know which one) shows low compression. That's all we know til it comes apart.
I have 150K on the clock and do NOT drive it hard, is this just something that happens at this mileage?

    That sucks.

No, this isn't something that just happens at high mileage, it's something that happens typically due to a poor tune. The Cobb basemaps are great on some cars, and terrible on others. I'd suggest getting a custom tune once the new engine is up and going.

There are a ton more. Do some research and I am sure you will find all of the options for good tunes on this board.
