starting the car problem

    hey my car start up very rough in the morning and after its been sitting for a while. just today, i have the jump the mofo. any body might know whats wrong??? alternator and starter was rebuilt and battery was purchase new when the alternator was being rebuilt.

    is it just since its been cold? if so, what is the cold cranking amp rating on the battery?

    How old is the battery?

    Is was pretty cold this morning. Maybe install a block heater.

    winter gas and colder temps make the car harder to start.
    also, higher octane gas will make it hard to turn over in the cold.
    i just replaced my braille battery after 2 full winters.... it starts like a champ now. :)

    Battery is always the first thing to look at in the winter for starting problems.
