Hello all, So I have a 2012 impreza 2.0i just the base model which did not come with cruise. I bought the OEM controls for cruise and radio controls. I got them installed now the cruise works but the radio controls don't (they light up but don't operate the radio) I think the issue is with the clockspring...so if I were to get a clockspring from a limited would everything work or would there be more to do yet? Needs reprograming? Also I'm considering added factory fog lights and factory switch if I bought the whole kit is all the wiring there for that? Lastly I heard somewhere that if I bought a key fob that has auto start and got it programmed for my vehicle that it would work? Not sure on this one but figured I'd ask. Thanks in advance!!
Ask a dealer for the fog light accessory, if it exists you can do it, and all the needed parts will be in the box. The remote start questions answer is no. That kit comes with ignition switch wiring, control unit, antenna, and also needs to be programmed at a dealer.
