I am considering putting a steering quickener in my Subaru

LE fabrications sells one for $530 + $200 core charge. http://column.landefabrication.com/
has anyone used one or have anythoughts on this?

I would not purchase one, but I build one my self with a new style quickener this one to be exact. summits is only $160

so any thoughts suggestions? I don't think I would have a problem over loading the steering pump as I would still be doing the same about of wheel turn I would just be doing it with less movement of my arms. this would be for my rally cross car

Fuji has a quicker steering column as well, there is also quicker sterring racks instead of colums

I know a couple guys running the L and E setup.

One of them is Harvey Epstein out in CO. He's a tuner in Boulder and has it on his 02 Wagon. You can contact him at 303-579-8830 during normal business hours. Or you can PM him over at awdpirates.net (TheBoostCreep is his screen name).

He's a very helpful guy and will gladly answer all your questions. You might be able to meet him over Christmas time, too. He'll be in the MN area.

I decided that building a column would be better for cost, but I'm just wondering if some one around here MN has one that could confirm or unconfirm the stability at high speeds 80+ mph

It sounds like I should build a few for off road use. First I'll build one for 91 legacy then I'll try a GC8 ,if the Legacy one works.
I figured I'd build a jig that can hold in on center and be able to adjust for length...

so if anyone has driving impresions let me know.
