i am looking to lower my 05 STi and want to know if anyone has had good/bad experiences with any specific ones...thanks
try searching on iwsti.com if you haven't already. specifically http://www.iwsti.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=22 Prodrives and JDM Pinks are the most respected for actual performance - pinks drop ~3/4" all around, prodrives are like 1/2" in front, even less in the back. There are others out there that drop more, but it sounds like going lower than the pinks doesn't really do you any favors in the handling department. I have the pinks, I think dream on here has the prodrives.
^^1+, I got one too, they are much cheaper than the pinks, I think here is the rate chart http://www.ravensblade-impreza.com/techdocs/spring/spring.html
like to see you hit an expansion joint with those spring rates. YIKES. i thought my 400s are bad that would kill
Here, Here.... 500/500 (the car only weighs 2700#!) with the racing bucket is not a fun ride to St Cloud or Brainerd!
i have a new set of tein ype "s" in the garage. they drop alot, but the spring rate is imo not stiff enough for the sti. that will teach me to order stuff after 4 beers... if you want they are yours for $199.
yeah but thats a weekend warrior. i got 400/450 on my daily driver. i say go pinks, but the agian what do i know. (pink springs = t3h win)
