Driving over to Psycho Suzis for 'za tonight I saw a motorcycle that was riding the rear end of a blue STi actually hit the back of the STi in heavy traffic and knock out its right taillight.

The guy on the bike was lucky to get away without more serious bodily injury. He was riding WAAAYYYY too close to the STi in rapidly braking traffic. He was *this* close to rear ending the car squarely which would have sent him _____?

I saw them both pull off at the Lyndale/Dunwoody exit. Curious as to what actually broke the taillight - the bike's fairing or the rider's knee.

hmmmm, wonder why a the biker was tailing the STI. I dont think that was a good idea. Or maybe the standard "brake check"? Nice to meet you @ FS

A bike was riding my tail end super close on friday night going down to firestone. he could have touched my bumper with his hand if he wanted to. kinda dumb in my opion.

Yes, sir. A lot of bikers have the idiotic idea that their bike will stop on half a dime, so they can ride as close as they want to other cars. However, they also are under the false assumption that this will compensate for their obvious lack of skill. These riders are usually pretty easy to spot.

bikers always tail me when I am in my STi. they get a little loopy sometimes... of if you end up passing them, they ride up on you all of a sudden and weave in and out of traffic. odd behavior. obviously a bike is going to go faster in most cases and have quicker acceleration---I don't understand what they are trying to prove.

the ones that scare me are the guys who drive down the line (between cars) in heavy/stopped traffic on the highway. People dart from lane to lane very aggressively in that sort of situation, it's just asking for trouble.

As someone who has been riding for years I will never understand people's death wish for tailing cars so closely.

Ride like everyone else is trying to kill you usually works the best.
