my 04 sti rear diff light in the cluster keeps on blinking. it comes on and off from time to time usually at speeds of 40mph+. some days it comes on and off and some days it doesnt come on at all. has this happen to any of you sti owners? anybody know whats going on? also my rear struts might be bad too. they clunk alittle when im going slow and over little bumps. anyone know how to check whether or not the rear struts are bad? if they are bad would it damage the car at all? i could use some help. so could this bad rear strut be causing the rear diff problem?
warranty still? STI rears ar known to give ya a clunk clunk clunk....SOA has replaced a number of these under warranty. I assume the right rear strut is giving you the most noise? struts causing diff light? probably not.
