STi Up-Pipe?

    Alright i have an STi up pipe off an 05. My ? to all of you is. The only real benefit to catless up-pipe is quicker spool. does it lower your turbo's temp at all?

    any info and overall guidance is appreciated.

    i can imagine it would, because cats need to be hot to operate correctly, getting the gasses through a tube that can disperse heat faster would be better then having it flow through somthing that traps heat
