Guys, I stumble upon this feature on my STi. With the lights on, if you pull the highbeam back halfway (one click) just the right side highbeam comes on. Pull back more and the left side comes on (both are on at this point). I see it as a cool way to wink at other Subie and STi's. Does this also happen on none STi? Is this the way it was designed? You could really mess with people if this is the way it was designed. Can I say STi Cop? LOL I've notice some of the STi guys are aware of this and have posted on other site as well.
You know, after I read this post, I went out to experiment on my lights, half way and I can have both coils on. It's like having fog lights with high beams. It can stay there or I can switch back to driving / high beam. but I can't wink...
I used to be able to barely press the button on my old probe with flip ups and only one side would go up then down. THAT was a wink.
