STi/WRX oil send

    I am curious where the oil which goes to the turbo comes from on the USDM STi and WRXs. Does it come from that rear oil tap by the knock sensor? how does it connect there? banjo fitting? any help would be appreciated!

    It comes from a hole on the back side of the block under the turbo, I think. There is a banjo fitting there.

    I might have a pic of it. I'll look around. Otherwise, I think you can see where it is in my engine bay.

    It comes from the pass head. You can see the channel on hte head and there's a banjo bolt that holds the hardline onto it.

    i can take a picture of it when i get to the shop, i have that head..its off the car though

    thanks fuji that answered my question. i lol'ed when the magnet got stuck.

    can you hook a turbo oil feed from that location on an EJ22E head?
