I have a 2005 WRX with 20,000 miles on it, the clutch is relatively hard to push in. I was told it may be the throwout bearing inside the clutch assembly....is this true?

I bought the car with 13,000 miles and the clutch was just as hard to push in.

Any opinions?? Maybe someone can feel it at firestone tonight or the minnetonka meet tomorrow...

lol mine was hard when I bought it at the dealership
I asked around, and lots where telling me that's it's because the 06 (i know yours is an 05) uses a different type of clutch
So i drove around with it for a while and it kept getting really stiff
Took it in and had the clutch replaced, clutch was worned out.

    And no, it's not normal...

Other than being hard to push in the clutch grabs hard and is not making any sqeaking or chirping noises at all so I am hesitant to take it to the dealer,

but the person that owned the car before me was a retard so yes I am thinking that I may need a clutch......
