My thread was deleted. So what is his motivation going to be to resolve this? I understand trying to protect a potentially innocent individual, but after family and friends get ahold of him to rectify the situation, I watched the sun rise, and set, on another day with no communication. I am simply expecting an exchange of dialect, whether by phone, text, anything. I want that to happen within the next 24 hours or these threads will take a turn south. I'm out $175 and I'd like to hear from the person who has that money. My problem is now two fold. I am also beginning to question why threads are being deleted. Taras and others were allowed to traipse around this site (an automotive forum), with their radical political OPINIONS. How long did it take threads like that to be locked, this, when being able to speak your mind held weight here. Moderation should be held under its own definition as well, being "reasonable limits". Aegis, your comment of "do not question a mod" needs to be evaluated. This isn't a leadership position, its moderating. To Jog the mind: mod·er·ate (mdr-t) adj. 1. Being within reasonable limits; not excessive or extreme: a moderate price. 2. Not violent or subject to extremes; mild or calm; temperate: a moderate climate. 3. a. Of medium or average quantity or extent. b. Of limited or average quality; mediocre. 4. Opposed to radical or extreme views or measures, especially in politics or religion. For someone who is citing automotive work to work on members cars through mnsubaru, it should be valid to critique and post about their business ethics, to give other members a balanced opinion. I didn't say anything that wasn't true, and didnt directly attack him as a person. This thread will be deleted, of this I'm almost sure. I however, view this as a public forum where members are able to use their voice as long as they regulate their dialect, and the topic is of concern to other members. Feel free to PM me, or even ban me if that's what you wish. I'm to the point of utter frustration with this situation.
+1 on the thread being deleted...that was pretty uncalled for but I think the mods deleted it for fear of trolls stirring the pot rather than your initial post. I hope you get everything straightened out, I've been in similar situations through NASIOC and it's not fun.
Jack, I completely understand your frustrations and hope everything turns out...and in short order. However, we just don't allow call-out threads on MNSubaru. I recieved your PM reply to my question and will respond to you very soon. Until we figure out a way to assist you please stop complicating the matter by posting any further discussions about this. Hang in there, we'll do the best we can to help you and Tim figure this out.
I have no problem with your thread, Jack. The problem that I have is with the same people here constantly ganging up on moderators for doing their jobs. The issue was being handled, and there was no need for other people to get involved in it.
