Stock 2002 WRX 16" Rims w/Winter Tires - $200 OBO

    I have a set of stock 16" WRX rims just gathering dust in my garage. They have winter tires on them currently. Not a whole lot of tread left on them. Usual wear and tear on the rims, nothing major. I'm moving on Thursday, so a quick sale would be nice, but no worries, they'll just come with if necessary. Rims and tires are in New Hope until after Wednesday night. If they're not sold by then, they will be in Rogers. I can snap some pics later and upload. $200 OBO.

    By the looks of it (siping is gone in some spots) probably around 3/32 in the low spots so well into the allseason compound layer. I'd be more worried about build date/how they were stored. Those tires were discontinued like 7 years ago.

    Good price on the wheels though.

    I'm also curious on the date on the tires. Do you have photos of all of the wheels? Rash/cracks/bends/etc?

    Honestly, they're almost to the wear indicators. I've had them for a while; can't remember how long. I didn't use them last winter, but they were used the winter before when I noticed they were losing their edge. There might even be a slight tear in the sidewalk on one of the tires if I remember correctly. Not deep enough to affect them in any way, but again, they're pretty worn out. They have been stored like this, in a garage when not in use.

    I can take better pics tonight. The picture above was kind of an after thought before heading in for the night. I'll bring out ole Abe, as I don't have a depth gauge.

    Abe says the tires are shot. Rims are in good condition except for the one which has about an inch and a half of curb rash on it.

    I'd also be more interested if the tires were off, but I'm not interested in getting into a bidding war, so if someone else wants them, they can have them.

    As luck would have it, my nephew needs a set of tires to get him through a couple months, long story short: the tires should be off of the rims today if anyone is interested. Let me know!
