Are there any difference in the rear sway bar sizes in each years?
If so, what are the sizes

This is all from memory, so please correct me if I'm wrong (all for WRX):

    02-early 03 sedan: 20mm
    02-05 wagon: 17mm (or was it 18? I can't remember)
mid 03-05 sedan: same as wagon

My '06 wagon had a 16mm rsb on it, I think. The bushings had 16 stamped into them. I'm not sure if the sedan size was reduced also or not.

    Not that I know of.

But you are correct: installing a stock 02-03 sway bar on '04's and later is a common mod.

My 07 is set up for a 60-year old lady as well. All around it seems, not just the rear.

Not to hijack the thread, but what's the best sway setup for the money?

me, i'mma grab an 02 sedan one because it's 20mm, bigger than my 06 stock, which will help out a bit more, plus a bit cheaper too
