After a quick reminder from Mark, I am getting on this before it’s too late! A lot of you know me from the LaXCruises and many years of hanging around this forum. This January, my wife and I decided to step into entrepreneurship and open our own company! Storlie Renovations LLC has officially launched as of January 1! We do small scale remodels, handyman work, and design layout/execution. Painting, drywall patch and repair, trim work, cabinets, tile work, flooring(tile/laminate/hardwood), framing, siding, etc, etc! I am comfortable doing MOST jobs but will not typically touch electrical, plumbing, or HVAC. But aside from those, ask, and I probably can take care of it! I have over 25 years of construction experience and we would love to help you with your home project! PM me if you’d like any additional details! Thanks -Josh Storlie Renovations (651)216-7431 Located in Roseville, MN. We cover the Twin Cities metro. ...on to the pics!
Nice! I wish you all the best in the new endeavor. Being a small businessman can be a tough row to hoe. I wouldn't be afraid to post up all your contact information. PMs will be a hard way to contact you soon enough. We also need to know the geographical area you'll be willing to cover. I'm guessing Iowa is out of the question.
I figured it was. I was surprised at the coincidence. You could have used "Tangled Up In Blu Construction" but then Bob Dylan probably would have sued you.
I'd use some naphtha (lighter fluid smells less, but is more expensive) on that tub. I'll bet my life (I know, not worth much) it'll take that adhesive residue off better than anything else you'd try.
It came off first try with goo-gone! That job was in January. I’ve spent the last 4 months in Iowa working on this house. The punch list keeps getting smaller!!
I’ve seen the truck and trailer several times driving around Eau Claire! The first time I thought maybe you were in town for a job or something.
@tangledupinblu you might find this podcast episode interesting regarding this company that ventured into handyman services and had some issues with it. https://structuretech.com/podcast-structure-talk/handyman-woes-with-daniel-felt/
Mark, I am a bit more on the restoration and renovation side of things. Not as much on the handyman work.(although I am pretty good at changing light bulbs and replacing fixtures)
Got the house listed! Man, that was a lot of work! 3 1/2 months of kicking butt and taking names. Listed today and have 4 showings scheduled already for this weekend! Praying that it goes quickly and to the right people, after a bidding war. https://www.realtor.com/realestatea...Maquoketa_IA_52060_M78925-81141?ex=2945653312 If you want a giggle, click on street view.
Maybe you said it in a different thread but what was the reasoning to pick this one so far from home? Looks awesome, man!
The Google car doesn't make it into that part of Iowa very often apparently. Looks nice. Good job! Hope it sells quick and for a good profit...you need van tires.
Bumping because Mark reminded me of this thread! Hahaha Did I mention that I do almost anything? ...@readymix
Double of nothing is still nothing right? Lol Jk. I would lodge and feed you during the time for free though
Concrete slab work? I'd be nice if my garage floor wasn't pitted and graded the wrong way. Also what is considered "far"
