Hey guys I've been doing a lot of interweb searching and looks like the 02-03 WRX rear struts are different from the 04+ WRX struts. Looks like the Rear top hat is different? Some sites are saying Nope wont fit.. some are saying yep they will fit as long as you use the Whole (Strut,spring,top hat) 03 assembly in the 04. Others are saying you need some spacer? Can anyone confirm if this is true? or what will work? Thanks!!!!
To use struts designed for 02-03 fitment with 04+ tip hats you need these: http://www.fastwrx.com/products/tic-scooby921-strut-spacers This is what I've done with my 02 AGX struts and 04 sti springs/top hats. Alternatively, you can use 02-03 top hats & struts on all 04-07 wrx/sti
Ahhh so you can use a complete 02-03 (Strut,spring,tophat) combo in an 04+ I did not know this.. thanks man!
