I put on a BOV because i like the sound and thats final. Now, obviously i want to run it as safely as possible. I need some tips on how i shoudl "tune" the bov and what not. I obviously am running it on 50/50, ive only driven it once since i installed it and i dont think i noticed it running rich. If it was running rich would is be obvious or is it a faint smell? ] if i dont think that im running rich, is there still a threat to my cats? and lastly, is it a good idea to disconnect the battery to reset the ecu so it gets used to less air recirculating?

I know you guys are super sick of these questions and my newb ass, but i appreciate those of you who help me out.

    Thanks

First, you are up too late... Go to bed. Second, you won't notice a smell, third, it is no threat to your cats. Fourth, your ECU will adjust as necessary. Typically, you'll run a bit rich at 50/50.

Finally, here's the way to tune a BOV: Start and warm the engine to idle. Open the hood and sharpely push the throttle cable. If the engine doesn't struggle back to a normal idle speed, you're fine. Otherwise, tighten the spring tension on the BOV until the engine is able to recover from from high throttle to normal engine speed without hickuping.
