some clown that made the schedule at work decided it would be a good idea to have me working 1:30pm- 1130pm yesterday and 5AM to 3pm ok well see ya in 5 and a half hours (if I go to my car and sleep) needless to say I slept for 1 hr ftl
I left a job because they did this crap to me, I think you should do the same and find a better job. If they get away with it once, it will happen again. And again. And again until you quit.
I once worked in a gas station in OZ started on a grave yard shift... 1am-7am then back at 1pm till 7pm then back at 1am till 7am then back at 1pm till 7pm for like 3 days straight.. which included a 25min (min) drive each way to work, I think I slept for about 3 days straight after that... they were renovating the gas station etc, so they had short staffing or something... the money wasn't worth it that's for sure
^^ F- That! omg I would have walked out and told them to suck on ma ballsack. and, yes I need this job!! I have a standalone and 6 speed left to buy before Ronda gets back on the streets.... also, I told them if they schej me that shift again, they have to put me up in a room for free because after working until 11:30 and driving 35 mins back that leaves me with a MAXIMUM of 3 hours and 45 mins to sleep ftl, and everyone knows you cant just instantly fall asleep when you get home.
