this morning i get up and walk out to my car...glass everywhere, drivers side, im like "okay maybe someone doesnt like me" open the door, the molding around my stereo is busted into a million peices, my CDs are gone, my stuff thrown everywhere, the faceplate from my cd player is gone, pop my trunk and my sub is gone! not only that, but terrible pry marks on my paint and moldings! called my insurance company they replaced my window, and the cops said they caught the kids, and i was one of 10! people on my block that got broken into, the cops told me they have my stuff, but i cant get it back yet[xx(] im PISSED!
Hey at least those to blame were caught and your insurance company can have a field day with them in civil court if they so choose. There are plenty of folks who never see the punks who got to their car got.
MAN! I hate those kind of people along with that lady that sued McDonalds for spilling coffee on herself. I say kill em all and let god sort em out. Sorry to hear about this i know I'd be friggin livid and head hunting.
UPDATE: i have the kids names, and addresses, they are 14 and a 15 yr old kids!, so what i plan on doing taking all the glass that i picked up, and spreading it all over thier driveway and yard, the main kid lives right down the street from me!, and i got all my stuff back last night, and i found some stuff i didnt even know i was missing! heres what they took: sub, faceplate, cd case, loose cds, my electric rasor, my lighter, and my axe body spray..WTF! im gonna get an estimate today for my paint and moulding damage
Apply the hurt to the little punks man. Too bad you didn't catch them doing it. You never mess with another man's automobile.
I'd confront their parents first before attacking what is likely their parents' property otherwise they could turn it right back at you. I'd hate to have my car broken into and then get into a feud with the neighborhood because of it. Make sure to go to all the other neighbors and let them know what those kids did and where they live, but only if the kids' parents end up being dicks to you about the situation. If they pay for everything (and maybe a little more) then things are almost OK, right?
That's fantastic that you got your stuff back. I've had a couple cars broken into and never gotten anything back, which I would guess is the scenario about 95% of the time. Wonder what stupid thing they did to get caught?

It is great that they got caught. And that the Police have inventoryed all your stuff. Sometimes insurance can be dicks about covering sterio's and subs. Stupid kids, in there own neighborhood too. )
Be mature about it man. Don't retaliate on some 14-15 YO kids! The neighbors will be watching and talking about them for the rest of their time in that house/neighborhood. No one will treat them the same because now they are criminals (if they weren't B4). They will have to live with this for a long time. I hope the parents teach them a lesson too though. I would definitely press charges, talk to the cops and parents about restitution.
