Is any one running subaru 4 pot front brakes? I'm looking into upgrading to BBK.

Yeah the old ones that say subaru on the side. Are they worth the upgrade? do they fit with the stock wrx wheels?

I thought the 4-pots fit in the 98-01 RS rims but not the 16" WRX rims, as the RS rims were designed around that brake.

Eric is correct the subi 4 pot will only work on the RS wheel. So if you have a WRX be careful with that. I wonder if they fit with the 05 wheel?

Do they not fit because of diameter clearance or spoke? if it's spoke would they fit with a small spacer? or does any one have 98-01 RS wheels for sale?

They do not fit due to spoke design. I am not sure if spacers will do it. However, I have used a wheel from Discount Tire called a Rage Breaker on my rally car. I used a 16X7 with a 40MM offset. There is also a 47MM offset if you want to stay closer to the stock 53MM figure. Here is a link to the 40MM wheel.

Best of all, they are 89.00 each new.

Also, they have lowered the price on there 17X7 that fit the STI to 99.00 each

FWIW, I had Subaru 4-pot brakes (WRX calipers of course) for the front on my old GC Impreza w/ the Subaru MY00-01 RS wheels. No issues at all with them or the fitment and the wheels don't look bad at all.
