The saying goes, "all good things must come to an end". Got my notice in the mail a couple days ago that the Subaru Mastercard by Chase, hence Subaru Bucks, will be going away come September 30, 2014. It appears a certificate will be issued for any unredeemed rewards remaining on the card. While the Subaru card gave you 3% back on all purchases, then new Chase credit card that will replace it will give you 1% back, with a 5% bonus on certain categories (gas stations, restaurants, etc) that change each quarter. I will miss you Subaru Mastercard as you have paid for just about all of my car maintenance since about 1998. RIP
