Okay, not really. But it turns out you can slip an iPad between the passenger seat and center console of a 2011 WRX and it fits perfectly. I have a leather Targus Case on my iPad2 and it fits very snugly. Not sure how well this would work with different models or a different case/Apple Smart Cover but with the Targus in my car it's perfect!

One side note, I tried the same thing in my wife's 2003 Outlander and it worked just as well so I'm guessing this could work in many different cars.

Me thinks this will lead to busted side window if left in the car unattended.

Sure, I guess I should have included a disclaimer so here you go:

The writer of this post and his subsidiaries shall not be held responsible and/or liable for any loss of property and/or damage that results from using the above described storage technique to secure their iPad or any other device. By reading this post and following said directions user hereby agrees that the security of their iPad or any other devise is their sole responsibility. It is understood that the post is intended for entertainment purposes only and should not be construded as professional opionion or advise. Should you seek the advise of a professional, contact your local mechanic or spiritual leader.

That said, anyone who leaves an electronic device in their car unattended is asking for a broken window and one less modern convenience in there life. I learned my lesson several years ago with a digital camera.

Ha! Not quite, I'm a Realtor at the Downtown Resource Group in Minneapolis. My wife on the other hand is an attorney at Gislason & Hunter. After years of reading and writing real estate contracts along with being married to a lawyer I suppose I know how to make something "sound legal".

While my broker focuses only on the condo/loft market in Mpls, my wife's firm does just about everything law related less criminal defense... but I do have a friend that does that as well. We are all available for hire and would strive to provide a level of service and expertise that exceeds expectations:) .

"Highfalutin", wow, now that's a really great word. I'll try to use that one in a sentence in the near future!

Nice, what do you drive? I'll keep an eye out.

Funny, it seems all I do is drive around DT all day. Not the best car for city driving by the way (low mileage), but at least I can write most of it off:)
