My 00's RS worked. They said they are working out the bug in the system. So you might want to wait a few days or call them. Me? No, I just order one just a few min. ago. They said it will take 3-4 week to get it.
Saaweeet!! I think I'm gonna debadge the back and have just this on it. Got the Mechanical, Performance, and Environment badges for my first Subaru (2007 TR). I'll have to hunt down the VIN on the '95 Impreza and get one for it as well.
That sucks. It won't accept my JDM VIN because it doesn't have enough characters in it. I'm tempted to call and complain, but I doubt it'll do me any good.
that is really cool. just submitted for a badge for our "new" 01 outback that is subaru #7. asked for; snow sports, performance, mechanical and high mileage.
Huh...now it recognized the '89, but not the '88. whatever, it's going on the '88 anyway also, if I get any more subarus, they're going to have to change their site. this is my 10th....
Thanks for posting this John! We got the 08 leggy to work yesterday after finding out the '00RS didn't work. Got the RS VIN to work today. Too bad there's a character limit... I'd ask for "555" lol that would be hilarious.
It wouldn't recognize my VIN, but I called the number listed and got a person right away who happily took my order. I can't remember the last time I called an 800 number and didn't have to go through a teleprompt. subaru FTW, the badges will probably end up on my toolbox, but it's a great promotion regardless.
Sweet idea. I just ordered two; one for the WRX and one for the 98 OBS. Gonna order two more when I get the VIN's off my Legacy and 96 Impreza.

They come in those airjacket bubble wrap envelopes with a instruction sheet/cutout to align them with the badges.
