Driving down to LA next summer, and I'm looking to attend events relating to both Cars, and Subarus. Problem is, I have no idea what's going on. I know Subiefest is an hour away, but that's in September The only other one I can think of is Subaru Summer Solstice.
M...N...Subaru. As in Minnesota. As in a local forum. There is this magical invention called Google... I'm willing to bet you could use it to your advantage. Possible results: NASIOC Cars and Coffee Petersen Auto Museum This thread on MNSubaru
Bad move there greenie. Not a wise move to be a smart ass when you have only been on this forum for only 4 months. Also why would a Minnesota forum know or care about whats going on in California?
LA as in Los Angeles or Louisiana? I don't really care but both of those locations are "down" and your abbreviation is unclear.
It's a corporation that provides numerous services globally including search engine, a web browser, map services, cloud based storage, and many others as a front for their nefarious plot to subjugate the lower and middle class and enslave millions, despite their corporate motto of 'don't be evil'.
I also heard there is a easter egg hidden in google if you type butt stuff into the image search engine. I can not confirm this myself however.
No No No you did it wrong your parents must have the safe filter settings turned on. See if you can trade this months allowance for them to turn it off.
Guys.. He doesn't get it. The generation I am unfortunately a part of cannot handle thinking for themselves.. Therefor cannot handle looking up where to stop on the way to L.A. California, because every high school age kid from Minnesota thinks they are going to go on some awesome road trip to California during summer vacation.. Trying to explain things like let's say simple math to the most recent round of high school graduates is excruciating. Example asking what 8x24 is and getting the answer of "I don't know four hundred something" Here's the answer Erik http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Car+events+between+Minnesota+and+California+June+through+July+2016
I spent the past few days googling events in/around Los Angeles and I could only find Subiefest, and Subaru Summer Solstice. I needed exact dates, so I can plan ahead, and buy tickets. Dates that most websites do not give out thus leading my to post a thread on 4? Different forums, all of which have given me smart ass comments. I'm glad you think that, although, I hate to break it to you, but not EVERYONE wants to go on an awesome road trip to California Like I said, already spent time Googling, that's why I cross-posted to numerous Subaru/Car forums. Thanks for the input though!
Stick to what, eating an absurd amount of hot dogs? I can't say I'm GOOD at eating hot dogs. Unless you count eating 3 in one sitting good?
My suggestion: 1. Plan the route your going to take. Determine exactly what cities you'll be driving through. 2. Google car events in those specific cities. You should be able to find something that way.
Why not consider the massive Wicked Big Meet that happens in June in CT? There's tons of cool places to visit along the way, so much history on the East Coast - the world doesn't revolve around SoCal, despite what some people seem to think...
Despite the world not revolving around it, SoCal is ****ing awesome to visit. As Raughb told me once, 37 million people don't live in California because it sucks. I'd recommend it at least once or twice. I wouldn't live there, but I'd vacation there again. If you do end up going that way, like I said. Check NASIOC. They have regional forums, you should be able to find a meet thread in several areas. Otherwise troll facebook and find car groups in the area you're going to. I made a handful of good friends in Utah by just googling "subaru meet salt lake city" and found SLCSubaru, now every time I'm in Utah I try to hit up a few of their Tuesday meets. As for the east coast, there's almost TOO much to do, IMO. So many big cities. West coast, you have Seattle, Tacoma, Portland (kinda inland), then San Fran, Monterey, LA and San Diego. Fewer options as far as big cities, which makes planning a vacation easier. East coast, you could spend a month and only make it to New York from Maine... then you have the whole rest of everything. The other thing I love about heading west is there's awesome ****ing places to visit on the way. Depending on your route you can hit the Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, Yellowstone, Glacier, Denver, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon... not to mention driving through the Rockies is simply ****ing awesome. If you want to go to SoCal, do it. LA is worth visiting. Hit up Angeles Crest, Sunset BLVD, Santa Monica Pier, the Petersen Automotive Museum (MUST DO. AMAZEBALLS.), see the hollywood sign, tour the Skorpion (soviet submarine), the Queen Elizabeth, a battleship, see the Aquarium, drive the Pacific Coast Highway north to Monterey, see the Hearst Castle on the way (****ing awesome). I can also make recommendations for Salt Lake City, San Francisco, Seattle and Tacoma. If you go east or south, I can make recommendations for San Antonio, Nashville, Florida's Emerald Coast, Atlanta, Williamsburg area of Virginia, Chicago, Ohio, and others. I've been a few places, all by car
