I was installing some samco ancillary hoses this weekend and noticed insides the air bypass hoses coming off the cylinder heads to the IC were coated with a white/yellow jelly like substance. It smelled like jelled gas. anyone fill me in?
condensation mixing with oil vapor, it doesnt get warm enough to evaporate the moisture in the winter, its fine man
Cool. I was alarmed since I never seen that before, but I guess the last time I had them off was in the middle of summer.
Its really the brains of your car oozing out originating from the immense power output of your monster turbo and three ton right foot
My car has no brains....and honestly neither do I most of the time:biggrin: yes, my uber huge standard 16g 2.0L equipped car is capable of a sonic boom.
How do you like that setup anyways Dave? Do you wish you would have gone one setup up from the 16g or does it satisfy for the time being?
love it, absolutely love it. the spool is insane... 20+ psi by 2800 rpm. Perfect street turbo IMHO. Huge step up from the stage 2.....no comparison. I originally wanted to 16g evo3, but didn't want to wait 6-8 weeks for it. The top end power of the evo3 would've been nice, but even the standard 16g kicks butt through 4th gear and in the higher RPM range compared the td04.
i don't care, I already had my question answered. I'm running an accessport so it tuned itself. LOL Russ (WRX1) and Steve-o tag teamed my car. Both are well versed in Cobb.
Dave since were jacking your thread I may swing by Thursday to check out the new place, I'll be at the Chan Legion for a fluid power thingy so after 7 or so.
yeah, about that....I won't be around....trying to help a guy finally finish a swap. down to the wiring now. probably won't be home until late
I noticed the same thing on my car and was a little concerned about it, I was planning to post here or NASIOC after more investigation. I <3 mnsubaru.
