Giving this another try. We had a lot of storms with lots of rain so i bet all the stuff from winter is off the roads. We should do this!
ohh, we shovel the winter stuff and rake the fall stuff. thats how we do it in MN, of course I own a wrx and my wife owns an outback, I don't shovel my drive way... ever. ....cause I'm not a ***** who doesn't drive in the winter stuff.
there is a usual course that we take in the fall fun runs. Bikerboy (Matt) usually leads it. Its a beautiful trip through some amazing back roads of MN and WI.
Candy Mountain? It sounds like a good time, I've heard about this event, but never been able to go.
gawd, why can't I live in the hustle and bustle of the metro area? with all the other suby guys and gals? Why am I stuck in this paradise know to many as St. Cloud, filled with all the splender of being so remote to the greater metro area?
I got one if anyone wants to join, it will consist of at least +3k miles it will cover the west coast of the country, includes Yellow Stone, Grand Canyon and Vegas and many more. The trip will take about 2 weeks to complete. LOL I got an invitation from Evoatcha he has one scheduled for Aug 10 if anyone is interested. WI summer Tour.
I'll be in the metro this weekend, one of my wifes friends is hosting a BBQ! Awesome!!! I get to go hang out with people I can in no way relate to who don't know what a recirc valve is!!!! I hope there is beer there so I can drink them out of house and home. are you going to be up on sat. or sunday?
Yes indeed! Here it is: http://mnsubaru.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26383 Guaranteed to satisfy your summer tour fix!
Ok Guys and Girls. Lets get this thing rolling. I am sure there are a ton of people who would like t go for a fun ride. I will PM bikerboy and see if he wants to lead the group, if he does not i know Ksal(sp) know the route. I was too busy enjoying the ride and dont remember the directions.
You're welcome to mix in with my tour on August 10th. We'll have about 30 cars, including a few exotics (Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Ford GT, Porsche GT3).
Is this "Summer Run" something that i can go to for the drive/cruise, leave after parking, come back for the raffle or prizes given out, and then leave again?
I just recently discovered a bunch of twisty roads over by the Grove (cottage grove) near Afton St Park ... they go alongside the river, probably to Stillwater, maybe even further. I will go check it out one of these days. It seems a good time, plus there are plenty of beaches and places to stop along the way. The only problem is that some of the little bridges are being worked on and are down to 1 lane with lights signalling which side gets to go first
I would if i could go on a highway with it. I am still working on my ex500, cant figure out why the problem with the carbs, but i got the title for it and tabs. I should be up and running very soon.
You cant put your finger on it, like a 250 ninja. Its not the fastest, or the best looking, but somehow its still one of the coolest bikes ever made, I cant explain it.
true. Kawasaki made that bike since mid 80's and its still made to this day with very minimal changes. Its the cheapest 500cc bike you can buy from a trusted manufacturer and it gets great mpg and is quite reliable.
It's taken care of already Taras. Go with them on their Fun Run! Huge variety of cars and great guys. If you try to get a Fun Run together, make sure you have someone experienced involved. These runs are a great time, but things can happen and you don't want to be responsible for it if it does. Much better to have people that know the routes and areas leading the group.
I know, thats why i am not trying to be the organizer, just trying to get people excited and get the people who know the route to lead. I will try to go with that group, but its a few weeks away.
