Sunroof Won't Close

    The sunroof on my 08 LGT won't close. When I try to close the sunroof, the glass gets almost closed then moves back to the half open position. I checked the area and I can't find anything in the way. I read the owners manual and it sounds like the anti-entrapment function is malfunctioning. Has anyone experienced this or know how I can get it closed?

    there is a manual way to close it I bet. There should be a cover someplace were the mechanism is, my jetta had one and there was a allen wrench to use if it happens. This is a shot in the dark lol.

    Maybe try to reset everything by disconnecting the battery quick? Disconnect battery, get in car and push the brake pedal to the floor, reconnect the battery...then try to close it again.
